Swim Lesson Policies

Payment for swim lessons is due for the session in full at time of enrollment.

Anyone with communicable illness (cold/flu, diarrhea, poison oak/ivy, pink eye etc.) must stay out of the pool until symptoms have subsided for 24 hours. Please keep sick students at home for the safety and wellbeing of other swimmers and staff.

Tamarack does not refund for student cancellation, but we do attempt to schedule make-up lessons when available. We will only refund/credit toward future lessons in the event of Instructor cancellation with no available substitutes. This policy is designed to support our staff and maintain our program as a non-profit organization.

An adult must be on the premises for the entire duration of lessons for students 14 and under.

Please remind students to use the restroom before every class. Only you can prevent bio-hazards and keep our warm water contaminant-free by encouraging the conscious use of bathrooms before entering the water.

Adults accompanying children are invited to observe from the deck in the marked areas.

Children under the age of 6 must be supervised in the dressing rooms at all times.

Children over the age of 6 are asked to use the dressing area that aligns with their gender only. We offer 3 family changing rooms, located on the pool deck.

Only reusable cloth swim diapers are allowed in the pool and can be purchased at the front desk: disposable swim diapers are prohibited from the water at Tamarack.

A full-body cleansing shower is required for every body before entering the pool.

Please let our Swim Lesson Coordinator know if you cannot attend any of your scheduled swim lessons. We value your time and understand that life can get crazy! Establishing clear lines of communication makes it easier for everyone to accommodate any changes to scheduling.
